Your 3-step path to a 700+ score

Founder's Story

From 610 on my first mock to 770 on test day. Here's exactly how.

My first mock test score was 610. I panicked. I had 8 weeks before my test date and a full-time job. So I built a system โ€” not a list of topics, but a daily process that compounded every single week.

W1
Weeks 1โ€“2: Brutal diagnosis
I took 2 mocks back to back and tracked every wrong answer by topic. DI and Verbal CR were my weakest. I stopped doing random questions and focused only on those two.
W3
Weeks 3โ€“4: Concept over speed
I did not time myself for two full weeks. I worked every problem slowly, understood the reasoning structure, and wrote down why each wrong answer was wrong. Score didn't matter. Pattern recognition did.
W5
Weeks 5โ€“6: Timed drills + Quant speed
Switched to timed sets of 10 questions. For Quant, I drilled formulas and mental math every morning. I tracked my time-per-question and forced myself to skip and move on when stuck.
W7
Weeks 7โ€“8: Mock test mode
One full mock every 2 days. Full exam conditions โ€” no phone, timed breaks, quiet room. After each mock: 3-hour review session on every single question I was uncertain about, right or wrong.

The key insight
"Don't study harder. Study what's wrong, not what's easy."

The edge that separates 700 from 760+

What toppers do differently

These aren't study tips. These are the specific behaviours that consistently separate 99th-percentile scorers from the rest.

๐Ÿ”

They review wrong answers obsessively

Average scorers skip past wrong answers. Toppers spend more time reviewing mistakes than doing new questions. They don't just note "wrong" โ€” they write the exact flaw in their reasoning.

๐Ÿ“Š

They take mock tests early, not just at the end

Most people save mocks for the final week. 700+ scorers take their first mock in Week 1. Why? Because the score doesn't matter early โ€” the error pattern does. Mocks are diagnostic tools, not performance tests.

๐Ÿง

They study reasoning, not just content

GMAT tests how you think, not what you know. Toppers learn the mental process behind each question type โ€” how the test constructs traps, and how to spot them โ€” not just memorize formulas.

โฑ

They time themselves from day one

Pacing is a skill that must be built early. Toppers time every practice set from the first week. They practice the discipline of skipping hard questions and not chasing perfection mid-test.

๐ŸŽฏ

They fix their weakest section first

It's tempting to do what you're good at. Toppers do the opposite โ€” they ruthlessly prioritise their lowest-scoring section, knowing that 20 points gained on a weak area beats 5 points on a strong one.

๐Ÿ“…

They follow a schedule, not a mood

Toppers don't study when they "feel like it." They block 2 hours daily on a calendar like a meeting that cannot be cancelled. Consistency compounds. A mediocre session beats no session every single time.
